Despite my name, I think football is infinitely more fun to watch. The World Cup is pretty cool too however.

Tough one, I prefer to watch Rugby more than Soccer (Although I'm a bigger soccer fan), and American Football is similar to Rugby in a lot of ways, but I find the games that I've seen from the NFL are just too slow. Stop, start, stop start, commerical break, timeout, so I'll have to go for Soccer on this one.
Oh, and just as a sidenote, I used to be annoyed by people calling it Soccer, until I discovered that it was us English that called it soccer (Short for Association Football) first, so we didn't get confused with the much more popular at the time Rugby Football.

I've never seen a American football match, but going by Rugby, you never get a boring game, even if it's a poor one. Rugby, no matter what, is a really watchable sport.
There is just something about Soccer though that I will always like more though.

I really thought they'd struggle this year but they're defying the odds so far.

I know, although the worst part is, it was kinda disappointing.
If before the match, someone had given you 1 point for a draw with Everton, I'd have bitten their hand off. But when you get that result after you're 2 - 0 up for 70 minutes, you feel a little robbed of 2 points.
But, yeah I think City are doing amazing so far, especially after listening to the 1st half. They sounded like a proper premiership team.

How do you guys get so excited over the premiership? The same teams win every year.

I'm not excited over the premiership, I'm excited about Hull City being in the premiership. I'm only really interested where they finish, I'm really not fussed about the top 4. Unless by some miracle we end up in there.

I kinda like the lower divisions more than the premiership. It's entertaining, and it's not all about who spends the record amount, and all that.

So if you don't care about how your team is doing, whats the point?

Was that question for me?
Because I said I only care about how my team is doing.
I'm not into the premiership as a whole.

Well right now, Chelsea are top (2nd last year) and Liverpool are 2nd (4th last year), whereas Man United are quite low down the table (1st last year). You can bank on it being one of four teams who'll win it, but you can never really guarantee exactly who it will be.
Plus, the Premier League isn't just about the top spot. You 2nd, 3rd and 4th spots getting you into the UEFA Champions League, the 5th spot getting you into the UEFA Cup, and then there's the relegation battle. You don't have to be one of the best clubs in the league to have something going on involving your team, which is why it's such an exciting league.
