great movie, had to watch it for English and it ended up being way better than I expected.

It's great but I always thought the movie should've been done in German with English subtitles to make it feel more genuine.
That said though, it has one of the most tearjerking endings ever.

Still an amazing movie, I cry at the end everytime, like a REAL man should!i! I agree, some movies almost make you cry. Not pathetically beg you to cry (I Am Sam) but are so perfect yet sad at the same time. Shawshank, The Iron Giant, and Schindler's List are all prime examples of those.

Not pathetically beg you to cry (I Am Sam) but are so perfect yet sad at the same time. Shawshank, The Iron Giant, and Schindler's List are all prime examples of those. I'd add Blood Diamond, Friday Night Lights and Saving Private Ryan to that list as well.

I haven't seen Schindler's List since I was in Grade 8 (for English as well). I was too young to 'get it', and I was bored the whole time. I'd like to see it again now that I'm older, only by 3 years but still.
