Can there be any arguement that he was one of the best comedians who truly understand the life of humans? He portrayed his beliefs amazingly and with such great humor.
By far, my favorite comedian.

Deffinately one of the greatest comedian's ever. I don't see how Pryor topped him on Comedy Central's Top 100 Comedians. Great special by the way, but I personally prefer Carlin over Pryor - both are great comedians don't get me wrong.
For some reason I also really like Denis Leary and Steven Wright now-a-days, but Carlin is the greatest.
His final HBO special It's Bad For Ya recently came out on CD over at HMV. Pick it up, it's pretty good =)

Carlin was such an awesome comedian. Sucks that he died. I thought he'd live for much longer.

Kinda goes without saying that I am considering I was in stand up for almost 4 years. Every comic, nationwide, is a fan of this guy and think of him as someone who perfected an artform. Amazing comic, and he was pretty much the spokesman for common sense. |

Wright however did get progressively better in the years. His dvd from last year, When The Leaves Blow Away, I personally thought was hilarious - but for only certain people. Jeff Dunham I'll say is the same, I think a great comedian, but only good since he's damn original. Another personal fav? Adam Ferrera |
