He's not fighting Kimbo Shamrock is.
I'm not a big Kimbo fan myself. So far EliteXC is just throwing guys at him who has lost about 3 or 4 fights in a row.
First guy he fought was on a two fight loseing streak. Then fought Tank who hasn't won anything since WCW then this last guy was on a three fight loseing streak.
Matter of fact in his last fight he should have lost because he was completly out of it in the second round and the guy was beating the hell out of him with elbows on the ground but the ref wouldn't call it. More or less just saving his ass.
Throw him in with like somebody Fedor,Randy or Nog and it'd be a night off for'em

Kimbo is a scrapper. that's it. he's a fucking street bawler combined with hype, that's it. the reasoning behind feeding him poor competition is to keep him looking strong before he faces someone big, so the figh can be hyped up and score more buyrates. It's all about the MONNNNAYY!

kimbo is crap at submission
if he faces an oponent who is an excellent boxer then it would be a very interesting fight. those slobs who he fought in the streets, hardly any of them could throw a punch and the white dude that beat him showed everyone how u work kimbo, keep him swinging for about 8-9 minutes and then watch him fall like a fairy

But if I'm goona lay down good money I want to see a guy fight somebody not just have an ass kicking. Right now Kimbo is 3-0 and Brock is 2-1 and Brock's record to me looks a whole lot better. |

That's what you get when you don't fight somebody that's past their prime or on a 3 or 4 fight loseing streak.
Just to save face 10 bucks says they'll bring in somebody like Dan Severn or Oleg Tacktarov for him to fight so they can say that a lost didn't bother him none.

Elite XC was trying to build themseleves around Kimbo, but no one will buy him as a marquee guy now. He couldn't even cut it as a UFC 'jobber', I barely watch or follow MMA but even I know Kimbo is just a street fighter that can only punch.
